7 Steps To Learn Code Faster

Share your learning

Hey buddies, Today I going to discuss 7 steps to learn code faster. We will discuss where to start to learn code?

How to learn code faster? How to reduce forgetting that we have already learned?

There is a lot of resources that can help us to learn code even faster, yes some of them are paid and some are free. I have already written a complete article on it.

Following steps will definitely help you to learn code faster.

Let’s get started.

Plan your journey

The first step is to plan your learning. As a beginner we most of the time stuck with the starting point. Am I right?

So, let’s try to solve this one. If you have read my blog about the best resources to learn web development, you know that I have discussed how we can use paid resources for free like on Udemy.

It doesn’t mean that the complete material will be free for you. But the important thing is the outline of the paid courses is always free of cost.

So, you can select the best-rated programming course and then just write down the outline of the course. Now search for each topic one by one.

I know it will be a little bit hard for you but trust me by this way you can learn better and with the best quality because you will not be limited to one resource.

Sum-up, if you can afford, definitely go for paid resources and buy them it will save more time. But even then, don’t limit yourself, keep scrolling the internet.

Ready with To-Do list every day

The first thing that you have to do every day, make your to-do list for the day. This will help you to monitor your performance.

Without a to-do list, you will waste your time to decide what next. So, keep ready your list of tasks for every day. It will give you more clarity and will save more time.

One more thing that you can face in the absence of to-do list is a distraction so always remember the below quote.

Distraction is nothing but lack of direction.

Sum-up, always ready with your action plan.

Track your learning

Sometimes as a beginner we feel confused with what we have done and what remains, right?

But if you start with the first step, you can easily track our learning even you can also track your day to day learning by making to-do list which is our second step.

Sometimes you may feel impatience but that’s normal, I feel too. But there is no shortcut to becoming best at something.

Sum-up, tracking will help us to keep clearer to learn faster and better.

Theory v/s practical

As a developer, we have one misconception that we don’t need to go for the theoretical part.

But developers must have the habit of reading because sometimes we missed the point of implementation. Let’s understand this.

Most of the time when we search for something maybe to solve a bug, we just look at the code phase and when we implement that it totally messes and we confused.

So, what we have missed here, we have missed the theory part in which the implementation process is written.

Sum-up, conceptual and practical both type of learnings is important.

Taking enough breaks

How to reduce forgetting what we have already learned?

Have you ever faced the issue that you have forgot the thing what you have learned a few days back? I too.

Do not try to overwhelm your self by working too much every day.  Just split your plan of learning into small chunks and take enough breaks.

Actually, some theories have shown that if we do not repeat the learned thing within the 48 hours, we forgot 80% of it.

So, what we can do here, we can take the break to relax and then just give a short look at already learned concepts.

Even as a developer we have the amazing chance to connect everything together by creating some projects.

Sum-up, taking enough breaks not only help us to remember more but also good for our health.

Stay healthy, learn healthily

Health must be in our priority because without health we can’t do anything better. In the programmer’s life, we always sacrifice with our health because we do not give enough time to take care of it.

So, give enough time to understand your body. Just exercise daily, eat healthily and meditate to feel relax. Personally, I am a big fan of meditation.

Sum-up, healthy mind can learn better and faster.

Play with code

Do you know someone who is too much fast to learn anything new?

Actually, we all know, the kids.

But why, why kids learn so faster. Because they play with their learning. Exactly we also need to do the same.

Play with your learning. It actually works, I personally feel it.

Like, just imagine, that you are curious to know about the solution and your face got shining when you see a new problem.

It will be the awesome enjoyable learning.

Sum-up, learn like a kid, manage like a professional and live your dream life.
